1.What the warranty covers

Manufacturing defects of the movement

WATCHZ provides a warranty against manufacturing defects of the watch movement and the electronic module.

If during the warranty period the watch stops working, starts running fast or slow beyond the tolerances set by the manufacturer, or other malfunctions appear, please contact the WATCHZ store for diagnostics.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed by the service center, WATCHZ performs the warranty repair free of charge. The defect is remedied within no more than 20 calendar days from the date the repair is requested, including diagnostics.

The warranty period is extended by the time during which the buyer could not use the watch, starting from the day the request to remedy the defect was made.

If a warranty repair is not possible, WATCHZ, by agreement with the buyer, offers to replace the watch with a new one of the same model or with another model chosen by the buyer, with the price recalculated accordingly. If a model priced equal to the original purchase amount is chosen, no additional payment is required.

This procedure does not limit the buyer's right to make other claims provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including a refund in the cases established by law.

Free battery replacement

During the warranty period, WATCHZ gives buyers an additional bonus — free battery replacement when the battery runs down or fails.

To have the battery replaced, please come directly to the WATCHZ store. The cost of the battery and of the replacement work is paid by the store.

2.What the warranty does not cover

Mechanical damage and improper use

The warranty does not cover malfunctions of and damage to the watch, including the movement and the electronic module, resulting from:

  • dropping, impact or crushing;
  • excessive mechanical load;
  • improper use;
  • violation of the operating rules set by the manufacturer.

Such malfunctions are not manufacturing defects and are not eligible for free warranty repair. The absence of visible damage on the case does not rule out damage to internal components caused by external impact. The cause of the malfunction is determined during diagnostics.

Natural wear and damage to external parts

The warranty does not cover natural wear from everyday use, nor damage caused by external impact to the following parts:

  • case and bezel;
  • crystal;
  • bracelet and strap;
  • screws and fastenings;
  • crown and winding stem;
  • clasp and buckle;
  • decorative and protective coating;
  • other external parts of the watch.

Natural wear includes scratches, scuffs, worn coating, ageing of materials and wear of the strap, bracelet and other parts.

Loss or falling out of decorative stones and design elements is not covered by the warranty if it results from wear, impact or other external influence. Claims related to a suspected manufacturing defect of the setting are considered separately.

Water and moisture damage

The warranty does not cover damage caused by water or moisture getting inside as a result of:

  • failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions;
  • using the watch in conditions exceeding the water resistance level allowed for the specific model;
  • contact with water while the crown is open or not properly closed;
  • operating the crown or buttons under water, unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer;
  • mechanical damage to the parts that keep the watch sealed.

On watches with a screw-down crown, the crown must be fully screwed down according to the manufacturer's instructions before any contact with water.

If moisture got in due to a suspected manufacturing defect of the seal while the operating rules were followed, the claim is considered based on the diagnostic results.

Opening and repair by third parties

During the warranty period, to open the watch, replace the battery, or for diagnostics and repair, please contact the WATCHZ store or a service center approved by the store.

Opening the watch yourself, repairs, design modifications or replacement of internal parts by third parties without WATCHZ's approval violate the terms of warranty service. Malfunctions and damage resulting from such intervention are not eligible for free warranty repair.

This condition does not limit the buyer's rights under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3.How to make a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim:

  1. 1

    Contact the WATCHZ store and report the malfunction.

  2. 2

    Hand over the watch for diagnostics.

  3. 3

    Provide the warranty card and the receipt, or other documents or evidence confirming the purchase at WATCHZ.

When the watch is accepted, the date of the request, the reported malfunction, the watch's appearance and the completeness of the set are recorded. Based on the diagnostic results, the store informs the buyer of the cause of the malfunction and the further service procedure.

Paid repairs are carried out only after their cost and terms have been agreed with the buyer.
